Our policies ensure that everyone understands the expectations, standards and support available throughout the Player Pathway, helping us create a safe, positive and consistent environment for all.
Codes of Conduct & Fair Play
Upholding High Standards Across Warwickshire Tennis
Fair Play is central to everything we do at Warwickshire Tennis. We want every player, parent and coach involved in our programmes to enjoy a safe, respectful and positive environment. Our Codes of Conduct set out the standards of behaviour expected from everyone taking part in County Training, County Cup and any Warwickshire Tennis activity.
Our Codes of Conduct Cover:
-
Respect for coaches, officials, opponents and teammates
-
Positive and supportive parent involvement
-
Commitment to honest, fair and responsible behaviour
-
Professional conduct at training, matches and events
-
Taking pride in representing Warwickshire Tennis
These codes help ensure that every child develops not only as a tennis player, but as a respectful and responsible young person. Our full Codes of Conduct can be accessed directly on the Warwickshire Tennis website - Policies.

Expectations, Communication & Feedback
Clear Communication and Strong Expectations
To keep our County Training and County Cup programmes running smoothly, we ask players and parents to follow a few simple expectations based around communication, commitment and conduct.
Attendance & Commitment
Training runs on a term-by-term basis, with dates shared in advance. Players are expected to attend all sessions unless they have a valid reason. If a player needs to miss a session, parents should inform the coach or Performance Administrator as early as possible.
Communication With Parents
Our Performance Administrator keeps families updated with training dates, venue details, selection information and any changes throughout the year. We aim to communicate clearly, promptly and in a way that supports parents through the junior tennis journey.
Feedback & Continuous Improvement
We value the views of our players and parents. At the end of each training term and after every County Cup event, families are invited to complete a short feedback survey. These responses help us continually improve our programme and ensure we meet the needs of every age group.
What We Ask from Players & Parents:
-
Communicate clearly and early about availability
-
Support the programme’s aims and values
-
Follow the Codes of Conduct and safeguarding policies
-
Maintain a positive, respectful presence at training and events
By working together, we can ensure that every child has a safe, enjoyable and rewarding experience as part of the Warwickshire Tennis community.
