Become a Coach
Tennis or padel coaching is a fun, exciting and highly rewarding way for people of all ages and abilities to get more involved in the game – but where do you get started? We have a range of courses and qualifications available for anyone who is thinking of getting started in coaching, designed to help you work on your foundational skills and give you an insight into the role of a tennis or padel coach.
From these, you can go on to undertake further qualifications or training to specialise more in grassroots tennis, performance tennis or coaching a specific audience such as youth, adults or disability.
We have four different entry points into coaching - each targeted at different people:

Tennis Opened Up is a vision for tennis to be truly open to all, no matter their background. This will only be fully achieved when every person’s experience of tennis and padel, in every place it is played, makes them feel included. We want to make sure our qualifications are welcoming and accessible to all, so that anyone can take their first steps on our Coaching Qualifications Pathway. About You:

LTA Level 2 (or booking LTA Level 3)

Passionate about tennis and helping others succeed

Self-motivated with high coaching standards
Tennis Assistant (Level 1 or 2)
Support our coaching programme and gain hands-on experience.

Level 1: Assist group sessions under supervision

Level 2: Lead sessions with mentoring from senior coaches
Key Traits: Enthusiastic, reliable, and confident in a group coaching environment.

⏱ Part-time | £9.50 – £11.50 per hour
🎾 Min. Qualification: Level 1 (Assistant) + Coach Accreditation
