Warwickshire Tennis successfully hosted its annual Awards Celebration, bringing together players, volunteers, coaches, officials and partners to recognise the exceptional people and organisations who continue to make tennis thrive across the county.

The event was made particularly memorable by the attendance of Dan Evans, the Warwickshire-born international player. Despite an exceptionally demanding professional schedule, Dan took time to join the celebration — a gesture that was greatly appreciated by those in attendance and by the wider Warwickshire tennis community. His presence highlighted the pathways available to players from the county at the very highest levels of the sport.

Warwickshire Tennis was also honoured to welcome Roy Colabawalla, President of the Lawn Tennis Association. A Warwickshire native himself, the event marked Roy’s first official engagement in the county since taking up his new role. His attendance made the occasion especially meaningful and reinforced the strength, heritage and influence of tennis within Warwickshire.

The celebration was further supported by the presence of Anna Hart and Stuart Maidment from the LTA, whose continued commitment to supporting and developing tennis across the county was warmly acknowledged.

More than 200 nominations were submitted for this year’s awards, with Warwickshire achieving the fourth-highest number of county nominations nationally — a remarkable achievement that reflects the passion, depth and strength of the local tennis community.

Warwickshire Tennis congratulates all award winners and nominees. With such a high calibre of nominations across every category, selecting winners proved extremely challenging. Every nominee should be immensely proud of the contribution they make to tennis within the county.

The organisation would also like to thank everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a success. The atmosphere, energy and shared sense of pride perfectly captured what makes Warwickshire Tennis such a strong, inclusive and inspiring community.
