Warwickshire O60s Serve Up a Stunning Season

The Warwickshire Ladies O60s team enjoyed an excellent winter campaign in the Midlands Veterans League, played at the Corby Indoor Centre.

Competing against eight county teams, Warwickshire finished in an impressive second place, runners-up to Lincolnshire — our highest league position for many years. The title race went right down to the final match of the last weekend, when Nottingham narrowly edged ahead in a championship tie-break, leaving Lincolnshire at the top of the table.

The team’s success was built on talent, energy and great team spirit, with every player making an important contribution throughout the season.
