Team Reflections

Team captain’s statement:

“With several players moving up into the 70s age group this year, we knew the step up from Division 3 to Division 1 would be tough – and so it proved. Unfortunately, we also suffered an unusually high number of injuries, which made selections even more challenging. However, we have loved representing Warwickshire and have thoroughly enjoyed the competition. While the results may not show it, the matches were competitive and great fun. I am extremely grateful to all our players for their commitment and to the county for their increased generosity with expenses this year – particularly helpful with three long away trips.”

Looking ahead to 2026, Warwickshire Ladies 70s remain optimistic and committed to building on this year’s experiences, hoping to return stronger and more competitive next season.
