Warwickshire Learning Disability County Championships Return for 2026

The Warwickshire Learning Disability County Championships returned for a second year in 2026, marking another important step in the development of inclusive competition across the county.

Following the inaugural event in 2025, this year’s Championships were held at Solihull Arden Club for the first time, alongside the wider Warwickshire County Championships.

The event provides players with a learning disability with the opportunity to compete on the county stage and for the title of Warwickshire County Champion.

Runner-up – James Lang

Third – Matthew Newton

Congratulations to all four players who represented themselves brilliantly and contributed to another enjoyable event.

A huge thank you to Solihull Arden Club for hosting the Championships and to everyone who supported the event and helped make it possible.

Warwickshire Tennis is committed to continuing to develop opportunities for players with a learning disability and ensuring inclusive competition remains an important part of our county programme.
