Congratulations to every one of our 2026 County Champions and to all 386 entries who contributed to such a busy and enjoyable week of competition.

A huge team effort behind the scenes

Delivering seven days of competition on this scale takes a considerable amount of work, and the unpredictable British summer provided an additional challenge.

When rain disrupted the schedule, additional indoor court provision was secured at Tudor Grange and David Lloyd Solihull, helping to keep matches moving and minimise disruption to players.

Warwickshire Tennis would like to say a huge thank you to Kathryn Heathcote, Tournament Referee, for overseeing the Championships throughout the week.

A special thank you also goes to Will McCormack, who supported Kathryn and helped source indoor courts throughout the Championships

Thank you also to our court supervisors Tilly, Vanessa Pellow, Maddie Pellow and Harrison Hawker, who gave their time across the Championships and helped manage play at both the main venue and additional indoor courts. Their support, including some very early starts, was hugely appreciated.

We are extremely grateful to Solihull Arden Club for hosting the Championships and for the considerable support provided throughout the week, including helping with the additional indoor court provision when the weather intervened.

Our thanks also go to Tudor Grange and David Lloyd Solihull for making indoor courts available and helping us continue the competition despite the rain.

Finally, thank you to everyone else who contributed behind the scenes throughout the week. From court management and tennis balls to scheduling, last-minute changes and problem-solving, an event of this size relies on many people working together.

Most importantly, thank you to every player who entered and competed.

With 40 events, 386 entries and 6,929 games played, the 2026 Warwickshire Tennis County Championships was another fantastic celebration of competitive tennis across the county.

We look forward to doing it all again in 2027! 🎾🏆
