Saturday 10th May

Warwickshire started off against the strongest county there. South Wales. The Dylans started of strong going 2-0 up. South Wales fought back making it 2-2 against Flynn and Naishe. Whilst the singles in this fixture were finished, we started to play against Shropshire. Daniel and Dylan T started us off by getting us a 2-0 head start. Naishe and Flynn finishing the Shropshire tie of with a 4-0 win.

Back to South Wales in the doubles. Unfortunately, Naishe and Dylan T narrowly missing out in the 3rd set tie break. Flynn and Dylan P winning there doubles the first shoutout of the weekend was to be played. Naishe and Flynn stepped up in the shoutout. With some nail biting points the boys came through winning 10-8.

Flynn, Daniel and Dylan, Dylan playing the doubles against Shropshire the boys finished the Saturday unbeaten. 6-0 against Shropshire.

Sunday 11th May

With Warwickshire only to play Staffordshire we started off early at 9:30. The Dylan’s getting Warwickshire off to a strong start 2-0. Then came Naishe and Flynn. Naishe finishing first out of the two showing a high level of play against a competent Staffs no1. 3-0 Flynn getting off to a slow start managed to win in the end in a 3rd set champ tie break. 4-0 and JOB DONE!! Warwickshire into the u10 nationals for 4 years running. The boys ended up playing the doubles to make it 6-0 overall.
